Competition Terms and Conditions of Entry
1 General
1.1 Instructions on how to enter the ‘Win 2 Luggage sets with Heys Luggage at Perth Airport T1 International’ and other details contained within promotional advertisements form part of these Terms and Conditions of entry.
1.2 Participation in the Competition is deemed to be acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
1.3 The promoter of the Competition is Perth Airport Pty Ltd (ABN 24 077 153 130) (Promoter) of Level 2, 2 George Wiencke Drive, Perth Airport WA 6105.
1.4 By entering the Competition, each entrant grants the Promoter a non‑exclusive, royalty‑free, perpetual, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, publish, communicate and display its entry to the Competition (Entry) for the purposes of conducting, administering and promoting the Competition, including on the Promoter’s website and social media channels.
1.5 An Entry that does not, in the opinion of the Promoter, comply with these Terms and Conditions may be disqualified.
1.6 The Promoter reserves the right to, at any time, cancel, modify or supersede the Competition (including altering the prize for an alternative prize of equal value) if, in the Promoter’s sole discretion, the Competition is not capable of being conducted as specified.
1.7 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Western Australia and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Western Australian courts.
2 Eligibility
2.1 Only Eligible Entrants can enter the Competition.
2.2 An Eligible Entrant is:
(a) a natural person, aged 18 or older; and
(b) a resident of Western Australia,
who is not:
(c) entering the Competition on behalf of another person;
(d) an employee, director or management of the Promoter;
(e) an immediate family member of an employee, director or management of the Promoter, including a spouse, child, parent or sibling;
(f) an employee of a related entity to the Promoter; or
(g) a consultant, or an employee of a consultant, engaged by the Promoter to deliver the Competition.
2.3 Entry is open to Eligible Entrants who have completed all required steps set out in clause 4 below and agree to be bound by Instagram’s terms of use.
3 Competition Period
3.1 The Competition will commence at 12:00pm AWST on Friday 06 March 2026 (Commencement Date).
3.2 The Competition will close at 11.59pm AWST on Monday 23 March 2026 (Closing Date).
3.3 No late Entries will be eligible to enter the Competition.
4 Entry Method
4.1 To enter the Competition, Eligible Entrants must during the period starting on the Commencement Date and ending on the Closing Date (Competition Period):
(a) follow the official Perth Airport Instagram account @perthairport;
(b) tag another Instagram account in the comments of the ‘Win 2 Luggage sets with Heys Luggage at Perth Airport T1 International’ post.
4.2 Eligible Entrants may, during the Competition Period submit multiple Entries to the Competition per person or per Instagram account.
4.3 Entries must be:
(a) completed in accordance with the steps in clause 4.1 prior to the Closing Date to be automatically entered into the draw for the Competition.
(b) submitted by the individual Eligible Entrant
(c) submitted by an Instagram account (public or private); and
(d) compliant with Instagram’s terms of use https://help.instagram.com/581066165581870.
4.4 Any costs associated with use of Instagram will be the responsibility of the Eligible Entrant.
4.5 Entries must not:
(a) be rude or offensive; or
(b) modified after they are submitted.
4.6 The Promoter, its agents, affiliates or representatives is not responsible for late, lost or misdirected Entries, including any delays in the delivery due to any technical difficulties, network congestion or unavailability of the entry method during the Competition Period.
4.7 Entry in the Competition is free (excluding internet connection charges).
4.8 An attempt to enter the Competition not strictly in accordance with these Terms and Conditions (including any automated entries) will be a ‘Non-Conforming Entry’.
4.9 The Promoter has no obligation whatsoever (at law or otherwise) in respect of Non-Conforming Entries.
4.10 The Promoter may, at any time, take whatever action it considers necessary to verify the validity of Entries or determine whether Entries are Non-Conforming Entries.
4.11 The Promoter may disqualify any Entry, which in the Promoter’s opinion (at its absolute discretion):
(a) is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions;
(b) is incomplete or indecipherable
(c) could be deemed rude or offensive or that violates Instagram’s Terms of Use https://help.instagram.com/581066165581870;
(d) is made by an entrant who tampers, or attempts to tamper, with the Entry process;
(e) is made in pursuit of an unlawful or other improper purpose; or
(f) is made to jeopardise, or attempt to jeopardise, the fair and proper conduct of the Competition.
4.12 If the Promoter disqualifies an Entry, that Entry will be deemed a Non-Conforming Entry.
5 Prize Draw
5.1 One Entry will be randomly selected from the Entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions (Winner) on Tuesday 24th March at Level 2, 2 George Wiencke Drive, Perth Airport WA 6105 (Draw Date).
5.2 The Promoter’s decision will at all times be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
6 Prize Details & Conditions
6.1 There is 1 prize available, comprising Two (2) Heys Earth Tones 21” Cases, Two (2) Heys Earth Tones 26” Cases, Two (2) Heys Earth Tones 30” Cases from Heys Luggage at Perth Airport Terminal 1 International. (Prize).
6.2 If the Prize, or any part of the Prize, becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may at its absolute discretion substitute a different prize in place of any Prize referred to in these Terms and Conditions.
6.3 All components of the Prize are non-transferable, non-refundable, non-redeemable for cash, nor a substitute Prize, or other goods or services.
6.4 The Winner is not entitled to any compensation if the Winner is unable to use all or any part of the Prize for whatever reason.
6.5 All other costs and expenses associated with the Prize, beyond the specified Prize components, will be the responsibility of each Winner. Each Winner will be responsible for any and all taxes incurred in relation to the receipt of the Prize.
7 Winner notification & Prize collection
7.1 The Promoter will notify the Winner of their successful Entry on the Draw Date via Instagram.
7.2 The Winner must respond to the Promoter within 7 days of the date of notification, as instructed in the notification. If the Promoter has not received suitable contact from a Winner within 7 days, they are deemed ineligible for the Prize.
7.3 If a Winner is deemed ineligible, the Prize Draw and Winner notification process set out in clauses 5 and 7 will then be repeated.
7.4 In respect of the Prizes, each Winner can elect to receive the prize by:
(a) Presenting at the Heys Luggage Store (or nominate an agreed proxy to present) to redeem their Prize between 9.00am and 5.00pm AWST,
within 4 weeks following notification from the Promoter under clause 7.1. If a Prize is unclaimed after such time that Prize shall be forfeited by the relevant Winner.
7.5 The Promoter may request that the Winner provide proof of identity, age and residency, which evidence must either be shown in person when the Winner collects the Prize from the Promoter’s offices, or via a video call with the Promoter if the Winner elects to receive the prize via registered post. The Promoter will not retain copies of any documents relating to proof of identity, age or residency.
7.6 The Promoter will not be liable for any travel costs associated with collecting the Prize.
8 Publicity
8.1 It is a condition of entry that the Promoter has the right to publicise the Winner for any promotion or matter incidental to the Competition.
8.2 The Winner agrees to participate in any news or media activity surrounding the Competition and the publication of their name, photograph and Entry on the Promoter’s website, social media sites and other marketing material of the Promoter.
8.3 The Winner may also be required by the Promoter to participate in a photo session and interview.
8.4 By entering this Competition, the Winner consents to the Promoter using such publicity footage and photographs together with the winner’s name, voice, Eligible Entry, image and likeness for advertising and publicity purposes in any media in perpetuity worldwide without additional compensation or further reference to the Winner.
9 Indemnity & Disclaimer
9.1 To the extent permitted by law, all entrants to the Competition release and indemnify the Promoter and all of its related companies and personnel, from and against, all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of acceptance of any Prize(s) or participation by the Winner or their guests in the Competition or use of a Prize including (but not limited to) loss of income, personal injury, damage to property and whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise arising out of:
(a) participation in the Competition;
(b) acceptance of any Prize(s);
(c) participation in any Prize related activities; and/or
(d) use or misuse of a Prize.
9.2 Neither the Promoter nor any of its related companies or personnel, will be responsible or liable to any person:
(a) if, for any reason beyond their reasonable control, any element of any Prize is not provided;
(b) for any loss or damage sustained or incurred if, for any reason, the Competition is suspended, varied or terminated at any time, with or without prior warning or publicity;
(c) for any loss or damage sustained or incurred arising from late, lost or misdirected Entries;
(d) for any loss or damage sustained or incurred arising from any change in the value of a Prize occurring between the publishing date and the date the Prize is claimed;
(e) any loss of revenue, loss of production or loss of profit, goodwill or business opportunity or damage to reputation, or any indirect or special loss or damage; for any loss or damage sustained or incurred arising from late, lost or misdirected Entries; or
(f) for any loss or damage sustained as result of the Winner’s breach of the terms and conditions of third parties associated with the Competition.
9.3 Where the Competition is conducted or promoted on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram or X. Entrants acknowledge that the Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by or associated with any of these social media platforms and Entrants in the Competition release LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and X, and their associated companies from all liability arising from the Competition.
10 Reserved Rights
10.1 The Promoter reserves the right to exclude any person from this Competition for any reason whatsoever.
10.2 In all matters, all decisions of the Promoter will be final and cannot be contested. No correspondence or discussions will be entertained.
10.3 If for any reason this Competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process. the Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of Entries.
11 Privacy
11.1 The Promoter will collect, store and use the personal information provided by the Winner pursuant to these Terms and Conditions and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.
11.2 The Promoter collects personal information of the Winner in order to conduct the Competition, including for Prize collection (see clause 7) and for publicity (see clause 8).
11.3 This Competition will be conducted using social media which may be based outside Australia. Information posted, tagged or commented on, including photographs may be transferred to this company’s server outside Australia. By entering this Competition, Entrants agree to this transfer.
11.4 Entrants acknowledge that:
(a) any information they provide in connection with the Competition is provided to the Promoter and not to Instagram or any other social network; and
(b) any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Competition will be directed to the Promoter, not to Instagram or any other social network
